First Noel and a White Christmas

Merry Christmas a few days late! Ours was busy with family food and fun! Julian was amazingly receptive to the whole process, despite being in a crabby mood for the last week (we suspect teeth, but have no proof as of yet). He enjoyed unwrapping his gifts and showed off big time for his cousins during our family get-together that evening.
I'm a little disappointed that we skipped the traditional (or what will hopefully become traditional) Christmas Eve activities in favor of getting a little extra sleep, but I look forward to implementing those next year when he's a little more able to participate!

Our little Santa's helper on Christmas Eve!

Discovering his stocking full of goodies (board books and baby food) on Christmas morning

Ok...and ONE candy cane :)

Opening gifts! He got the hang of it pretty quickly!

Cuddle time :)

Yay, Christmas is fun! (notice outfit change, this was actually the 4th outfit of the day. Someone was a little puke-happy)

More presents!

Overall we had a wonderful first Christmas as a three-person family and were very excited that Julian's first Christmas turned out to be a white one! The snow started Christmas Eve and continued on through the weekend (although very light most of the time). It was a first for Eddie since being in Kansas, and had been a very long time for me as well. It did make travel a bit difficult though...even Eddie got stuck in a snow drift on the way back from taking my mom home on Christmas night. Nonetheless, we had to get out and enjoy it a little while it lasted.

His first snow angel! It was just too irresistable to NOT put him in the snow.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday! Here's looking forward to 2010 and all that it brings. Happy New Year from our family to yours!
